What do I need to know?
IDF is changing the payment method for soldiers in public transport. From now on, every service member receives a monthly budget form IDF, which can be loaded to the Hoger card (service card) through Rav-Kav Online.
The budget is given through Stored Value and is valid for all modes of public transportation in Israel. The budget is renewed every month and can be loaded through Rav-Kav Online. Short budget? Contact the person in charge at the unit for another load.
How do I load my Hoger?
Simple! Download the Rav-Kav Online mobile app, attach the Hoger to the back of the device and follow the instructions.
The first time you scan the Hoger, you will go through a one-time process of registration and updating the card’s details. After that, each time you scan the Hoger in the Rav-Kav Online, you will be notified whether you have a balance to load for that month.
Tried to load but it didn't work?
The Rav-Kav Online mobile app is available for Android and iPhone devices with an NFC component. If you previously used the Rav-Kav Online mobile app to load a Rav-Kav card, this means you will be able to use it to load your Hoger too.
If your device is incompatible or if you have experienced any other difficulty, we got you covered! You can also load your Hoger at one of our service stations at convenient stores, supermarket and pharmacy chains all throughout Israel.
