Compensation for Rav-Kav passengers in operation "Am Kalavi"

Compensation for passengers who loaded monthly, annual or semester contracts before the operation

Following the reduction of public transportation services during Operation “Am-Kalavi”, the Ministry of Transport has decided to compensate passengers who had a valid periodic travel contract.

Passenger Compensation

Passengers who loaded a semester, annual, or monthly pass that was valid between June 14 and June 24 are eligible for compensation. Compensation can be requested in one of the following ways:

  1. Annual or semester student pass with a discount - the discount amount is determined based on the date the pass, for which the compensation is given, was loaded.

  2. Stored-value reloading (at no extra charge) - the refund amount in stored value is determined based on the date the pass was loaded.

  3. Monthly pass with a discount - the discount is determined based on the date the pass was loaded. If you choose to redeem the compensation for a monthly pass whose price is lower than the amount of the compensation, the remaining balance will be saved for later use.

  4. Periodic pass for several days (at no extra charge) - the number of days ranges from 1 to 11 and is determined based on the pass loading date (available only if the original pass was monthly).

Note: compensation must be loaded no later than 31.12.2025

How to redeem the compensation?

To load the compensation onto a Rav-Kav card, scan your card on the Rav-Kav Online website or via the Rav-Kav Online app. If you are eligible, a notification will appear - follow the instructions to select your compensation type and complete the loading.

Compensation can also be requested at any Rav-Kav Online loading station located in kiosks, supermarket chains, and pharmacies across the country.

For monthly-pass compensation, you can select the compensation type on the website using only the Rav-Kav number, and complete the loading at any Rav-Kav Online loading station or at Casponet machines nationwide.

I replaced my Rav-Kav, how do I transfer the compensation to the new card?

If you replaced your Rav-Kav after receiving the compensation, you can transfer the compensation from the old card to the new one.

Steps for transferring the compensation:

  1. Locate the old Rav-Kav number - using purchase confirmation emails or in the personal area in the app.
  2. Go to the compensation lookup page - enter the old Rav-Kav number.
  3. At the bottom of the page, an update option will appear - follow the instructions and submit a replacement request.

After the request is approved, you can scan the new Rav-Kav in the Rav-Kav Online app and redeem the compensation onto it.
